Social Entrepreneurship, Social Economy & Sustainable Ecosystems
EU Project
Beyond Crisis
Within the framework of the European project “Beyond Crisis”, I had the honor to contribute as a speaker and representative of Greece, presenting the national perspective on Social Entrepreneurship and the Social Economy, as a member of the Hellenic Association of Women Entrepreneurs (SEGE).
My role focused on the presentation of concrete proposals, practices and policy-oriented interventions that support the development of sustainable and socially driven business models in Greece, drawing from both my professional experience and my involvement in social entrepreneurship initiatives.

EU Project — Beyond Crisis
The Beyond Crisis project addresses a key European priority:
the improvement of the business environment and the strengthening of sustainable entrepreneurial models rooted in the social economy, with the aim of increasing systemic awareness, collaboration capacity and local resilience.
Through peer exchanges, workshops and transnational dialogue, the project supports local and regional ecosystems in exploring how social entrepreneurship can respond effectively to contemporary economic, social and environmental challenges.
During the project activities in Cartagena, the exchange of experiences between partners highlighted the importance of:
-
social innovation as a driver of sustainable growth
-
cooperation between institutions, entrepreneurs and local communities
-
business models that integrate economic viability with social impact
The Beyond Crisis initiative demonstrates how European cooperation can empower territories to move beyond crisis conditions by cultivating resilient, inclusive and value-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems, aligned with the principles of the social economy and long-term sustainability.
